It is same great game, but higher resolution actually ends up looking worse. Cars needs some kind of animations, etc. Now limitations show up too clearly
This is Ramps! A 3D racer inspired by Powerdrift, Stunt Car Racer, Hard Drivin'.
Choose from 8 varied race tracks, and overtake the other drivers in 5 laps to win. As well as racing you'll need to navigate jumps, roller-coaster like ramps and occasionally even drive upside down.
Includes 3 difficulty levels, plus a practice mode for getting the feel of the track.
Note: This is a complete HTML5 port of the original PICO-8 version. It supports higher resolution and gamepad and touch screen controls, but is otherwise exactly the same game.
Arrow keys = Steer and accelerate/brake
Z/X = Alternative accelerate/brake (PICO-8 style!)
P = Pause menu (when racing)
Alt+Enter = Toggle full screen mode
Or plug in a game controller. Currently works with XBox 360 controllers and those with similar layouts.
Press to accelerate.
You don't have to wait to be automatically respawned after you fall of the track, select "Respawn" in the pause menu to get back into the race faster.
The green and red lines on the speedometer are recommended minimum and maximum speeds. The green line (minimum speed) is particularly important for clearing jumps (and occasionally getting up steep hills), so make sure to keep your speed above it. The red line (maximum speed) is to prevent you from sliding out on sharp corners or overshooting the jumps. Typically this is just a suggested speed - depending on your racing line, driving style etc you may be able to go faster.

Great work, only one small problem on mobile if I hold the finger on button browser start asking me if I want to download the image.
Hi. Thanks for the feedback.
Do you mean the buttons at the bottom (steering, brake, accelerate)? Or the fullscreen and pause buttons at the top right?
I put some effort into disabling the default browser behaviour for the controls down the bottom (as otherwise it's impossible to play the game). It seemed to work on my Android phone but I haven't tested any other devices.
What type of mobile device do you have?
The pedals gas and break, maybe a steering wheel as well it don't as each time but sometimes yes. But I manged to play a game, it just was asking sometimes.
I was using Sony XZ3 and Firefox browser.
I installed Firefox on my phone, and I can reproduce the problem now. Hopefully I'll have a fix soon.
UPDATE: I've managed to prevent the popup menu and it seems to play a lot better on FF now. There's still another smaller menu that popups up occasionally - I think it's triggered by double-tap - but it's much less frequent and doesn't block the whole screen.
