oh my god. This game has been one of the most fun 8-bit games I have ever played. I can definitely see myself coming back to this game. Very well done, mad respect to the developers!
This game is really cool! It reminds me when I was 8 years old, back when I had a FAMIClone, and it runs on my basic laptop at 60 FPS. Very light game for PCs and laptops weaker than my Intel Core i3-7020U with 4GB RAM, Intel HD Graphics 620, Windows 10 Home and conventional HD. Goodbye Formula 1 games with lag! Will there be more updates?
That's one of the advantages of the Pico-8 platform is that you never have to worry about whether your PC is fast enough.
Yes, I'm working on an update with a few more tracks. So far I've added Spa Francorchamps, old Hockenheim and started building Monza, which will be the 6th. I may add a couple more after that.
And I'd like to add a championship mode, to add a bit of depth to it.
Wow, this reminds me of playing games like Indianapolis 500 on the PC back when I was a kid. When I look back on those times I would play games before getting a Sound Blaster and used the PC speaker I realise that I (and probably a lot of other kids) were slowly driving our parents completely insane.
And once again, the PICO-8 system never ceases to amaze me. This game here is proof that the limit is the developers' creativity. Congratulations on your work and keep it up!
AMAZING! Love it! The physics are really well done - great graphics - I'm blown away this is even possible under such limitations. You even managed to get the racing line helper / ground display thingy in there, which I think is really awesome. Nice work!
not only a technical achievement in it's own right, but really fun. Drifting in curves takes skill and makes me want to try again and again. Best part is being head to head with other cars and pushing them out of the streets.
This game is really inetersting and fun to play. The controls of the vehicle are quite good and the overall gameplay is nice. Just because of excess pixelation the game is not that appealing but a really good take on making it.

Hi.
Arrow down to "!! Race !!" and press "x" or "z".
Great game :)
Love this game, just wish I could play it on me handheld. Could you upload all of the p8 files?
oh my god. This game has been one of the most fun 8-bit games I have ever played. I can definitely see myself coming back to this game. Very well done, mad respect to the developers!
This came out great, well done! I'm still amused as hell you humored me in the roster as an internet rando. He's better than me, btw. How awkward.
Hey! Just wanted to say that I love your style of games :-)
Hey thanks :)
This game is really well done! Great work! Are any more updates planned?
can you drift like Mario cart?
Hey thanks.

Wow, this is INSANE! PICO-8 is never disappointing.
Incredible job!

Hello,
